What is Motivation?
Motivation is crap. It is not real. It is fleeting and momentary. We have all had motivation to do thousands of different things from being an astronaut to a rock star to whatever. Motivation is nothing more than the exciting idea, the spark of what you want to do. do or accomplish. After this moment motivation is gone. It has done its job and now it is time to transition to discipline. Discipline is SO much more than just motivation. It is has come up at least 4 times this month talking to nutrition clients and members at the gym “well I’m not motivated to train”. Good new no one is pumped to workout every day. Motivation fades but discipline, that is lasting! Discipline creates habits and once you make something habitual then and only then will you begin to make change in your life.
