Now I’m not going to act like I am a pro at this yet and it is a work in progress but if you can do this you will so far ahead of the game! What I’m talking about is making the connection with your breathe. What this means is that when you train pay attention to the speed you are breathing, the intensity of your breath and then when that breath rate becomes rapid and/or when you begin to hyperventalate. Likewise make the connection between that breathe and what you are feeling in your body and your musculature. When are you beginning to feel the “burn”? Is it around the same time your breathing changes? The first step in this process is learning to make the connections between these things and then we dial it in from there.
